Doly 3D Maker Edition will not function out of the box. Please review the assembly guide video and documentation to understand the setup process. The 3D Maker Kit requires specific skills and equipment for proper assembly and operation.

To make the most of your Doly experience, please ensure you have the following essentials ready at home:

  • 📶 Wi-Fi Network (2.4 GHZ / 5 GHZ) – Recommended for setup and accessing features like language selection, user personalization, and software updates.
  • 📱 Mobile Device or PC – Recommended for app-based interactions. Compatible with Android, iOS, or Windows desktop systems.
    

When should you choose the 2GB RAM option?

The 2GB version is primarily intended for software developers. Since Doly is built on Raspberry Pi with an open design and open electronics, some users prefer to create and run their own custom software in addition to the official one. However, the official software is optimized for the 1GB RAM version, so if you do not plan to develop custom software, the 1GB model will be sufficient.
